About Desert Star High School
On February 12th, 2024, the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools approved the community requested expansion of Desert Star Academy to high school grade levels.
The 2024-2025 school year brought forth a successful expansion into grades 9th and 10th and in the 2025-2026 school year we expand to include grade 11. This upcoming 26-27 school year will include the final grade 12 and our first graduating class!
Desert Star High School was awarded full Cognia accreditation on October 31st, 2025. The accreditation is retroactive to the Fall 2024 school year.
Desert Star High School "Home of the Titans" is now open for enrollment for the Fall 2026 for grades 9, 10, 11, & 12.
